12⁰C - Sunny & Windy
A super eventful day!
Firstly, we had our very first lecture today, with Miss Xiao Ling. Her English standard is quite good so basically we all can understand her lecture. But, it’s a geography + history class! So..yah.. I guess you know clearly what we will do in class. Hehe.
Sorry Miss Xiao Ling, I was really exhausted, that’s why I dozed off for a while! :X Sorry.
Anyway, be thankful to her, I know a lot of featured nice food available in Wuhan! Hoho. All the food monsters were so happy, including me!
And on the very same night, I tried out all the recommended snacks which is called小吃Xiao Chi here!
I must say that the food here is really dissimilar to Singapore food, particularly in terms of their taste and also ingredients. Food here is more to numb-spicy, and also salty. But they have one special feature; they’re lots of small snacks here.
1st Prize – fantastic Tang Bao汤包 which is super juicy when you bite it! The feeling is Oh My God! Amazing!
2nd Prize – sticky Egg Wine清酒 which resembles mucus in appearance, but taste super good in taste!
3rd Prize – crispy Dou Pi豆皮 which wrapped rice by the fried tou-pok skin! Great creation!

We all were extremely impressed by the good-taste of foods, that’s why everybody was fighting for food, especially Hardy! hOho.
However, the food paying system here is also the same “tap-card” system found in WUST. You must buy a 20 RMB card from the counter then use the card to tap in order to buy the food you want. But rest assured, your deposits of money can still be refund.
After dinner, we went to arcade in a shopping mall called Shopping Mall, cute name right?
The game here is almost the same as Time Zone in Singapore, basketball machine, air hockey…etc. But unlike Singapore’s card system, they still use coins here. 1coin = 50cents RMB and a normal game just need 2 coins. So, it’s super cheap and that’s why we enjoyed ourselves here a lot!
After that, I ate Strawberry Xue Hua Bing雪花冰. It’s actually a cold snack from Taiwan imported to China. It’s available in Singapore too. I tried it out because I was too thirsty after battling in Arcade. Haha. Can you imagine it, eating thin ices in the weather of below 10⁰C? The feeling’s so great! Not freezing, yet enjoyable. You should try it out next time.
After taking illegal cab back to school, don’t know why everybody starts to take photos and so I ended up as the skillful camera girl. :)
They say, there'll be no snow.
